Peoples Injury Network Northwest Peoples Injury Network Northwest

At People’s Injury Network Northwest, we are recognized leaders in the field of physical and occupational therapy. Our experienced physical and occupational therapists have earned a reputation for achieving excellent outcomes and returning patients to work sooner with less chance of reinjury. Our programs include:

Physical Therapy We focus on the evaluation and treatment of acute, subacute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries. We use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, patient education and transition to home exercise. The goal is to progress your patient back to work as quickly as possible.

Work Conditioning – We combine occupational and physical therapy and focus on improving the patient’s physical and functional tolerances to meet specific return-to-work goals. Our evaluations document objective physical limitations and identify other factors that may limit the patient’s ability to return to work or meet their therapy goals. In most cases we can improve their limitations and their functional levels.

Work Hardening – This contains all the components of work conditioning, yet gradually increases the patient’s physical and functional work tolerances for an 8-hour work day. Work simulation is a major component.

Performance-based Physical Capacity Evaluations – This is objective documentation of a patient’s abilities or limitations with validity testing. It may be job-specific or generic for the 20 physical demands of work. We can perform PCEs for any musculoskeletal injury from spine to upper or lower extremities.

The patient also participates in education in body mechanics, pacing, symptom negotiating and compensatory strategies, thus improving the patient’s safety.

Our physical and occupational therapy, rehab, treatment and management programs are all designed to deliver excellent outcomes. We welcome and encourage your patient referrals. For more information, call us at 253-395-1131.
